It really lovely, very rich, especially as the pate began to melt into the sauce.

No much to say about this, except:
I wanted to use up some chicken liver pate I had in the fridge, not homemade I’m afraid, and this was perfect for it, it was dead easy, but really decadent and very tasty indeed.

I put chopped onions, mushrooms, a tomato, garlic, herbs, seasoning, some red wine and a gravy of tomato passata and chicken bisto into a dish and mixed it all up.

Made a small knife hole in the side of the chicken but made the pocket inside much bigger and rather messily stuffed the pate inside and put it in the dish too.

covered it with some more gravy cover in sauce

covered it in foil and baked it for about 40 mins.
