I got the idea for this burger out of the Morrisons freebie magazine I picked up in store the other day, I think there was a letter in there from a woman who had remarked upon the frittata burger recipe or something, which gave me a brilliant idea and if I were a vegetarian I would definitely make this without the beef patty..
Beef frittata burger:
I made the mince into patties just by shaping the meat and adding some onion, garlic puree and seasoning.
While they were cooking in the oven I fried off some peppers, bacon, onion and mushroom
added a couple of beaten eggs and cooked them a little bit but before they started to set, transferred the mix into two oiled rings
then I baked those too, turning them once just to brown the bottom..
Then it was simply a case of assembling the burger, I used one of those pieces of flat burger cheese slices that shouldn’t be nice but actually are.
then I topped it off with the mutant frittata burger, It was absolutely enormous
but I prevailed and managed to stop it toppling over.
and that was an easy peasy frittata burger
